Data & Media Retention Policy

- All local and remote media is automatically deleted after 7 days.
- Remote media is content retrieved automatically from other Matrix homeservers and is not created or controlled by this instance.
- Local media is content uploaded by users of this server and is subject to the same retention policy.
- Encrypted room content remains end-to-end encrypted; this server has no ability to decrypt such data.
- Once deleted, data cannot be restored.
Legal Compliance & Abuse Handling
Where content is identified as unlawful or in violation of applicable regulations, access will be restricted and content removed without delay, in accordance with law. If legally required, data may be preserved or disclosed to competent authorities.
